About Lleida…
The convention will be held in Lleida, Spain. Lleida, on the river Segre, is Catalonia’s largest inland city and was an Iberian settlement before being inhabited by both Romans and Moors. Nowadays, it is a lively modern city with a large student population and pleasant pedestrianised shopping areas. It is easily reached via the AVE, a high-speed train line, which connects Madrid and Barcelona. The main tourist
attraction is La Seu Vella, a thirteenth century cathedral, whose towers dominate the city. The modern Cappont University Campus is located on the banks of the river and is easily reached from the centre of town.

All Hotels are within walking distance of the convention centre but please note the sooner you make the booking the better as accommodation is limited in Lleida. PRICE ARE PER PERSON PER NIGHT (for the nights of 12th and 13th March) Rates for nights outside those times will be negotiated separately) All prices include full breakfast unless stated plus VAT at the current rate of 7%. Reservations can be made from now but deposits will not be required until after 6th January when to guarantee the booking a 50% deposit will be required with the balance to be paid one month in advance. Once reservations have been confirmed and deposits paid, cancellations can only be considered if adequate proof (i.e. medical) can be provided as to why the person cannot attend. ALL RESERVATIONS ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVED BASIS.

AVE train from Madrid and AVE and AVANT trains from Barcelona - Leida is well connected. This year RENFE is offering a dicounted rate.
