SEVILLE 2005 ROUND TABLE
NEW – "Multiculturalism in the Classroom" Round Table Input!

Start the ball rolling by sending in your questions, comments and experiences before the Convention. They can spark interesting discussions now, and will be included in the Round Table presentation, led by the following panel of experts:

Maidy Giber, Jeremy Harmer, David Hill, Joe McKenna and Antonio Roldán Tapia.

Round Table Abstract: What does a multicultural classroom look like? How can we raise awareness and encourage positive attitudes towards other cultures? How can we ensure that multiculturalism becomes a meaningful and enriching reality for teachers and students?

These experts will discuss where we are at and where we are going in our efforts to bring multiculturalism into the classroom. Questions and comments from the floor regarding experiences, opinions and practicalities will be welcomed, both during the pre-Convention period and during the Round Table itself.

Participate now by sending your input to the Seville Convention SIG (Seville2005-subscribe@yahoogroups.com) or to the SIG Coordinator (sigs@tesol-spain.org).
