Dr. Taylor is Subject
Leader, TESOL at Nottingham Trent University. She devises and delivers
undergraduate and postgraduate TESOL provision relating to the university's BA
and MA programmes, whilst also teaching learners of English as a Foreign
Language in Intensive English programmes.
She is a Cambridge ESOL
Examiner and Assessor for Cambridge ESOL Teaching Awards, CELTA and DELTA. She
has taught in primary, secondary and tertiary educational institutions, both
state and private, in UK, Europe and South East Asia.
Dr Taylor has been
involved in British Council sponsored teacher education activities in various
locations in Europe and the Far East. She has published in the fields of
applied linguistics and teacher education, and is currently researching the
role of teacher-generated language in instructed second language acquisition
contexts.
