TESOL-SPAIN Grants for the Annual TESOL-SPAIN National Convention

The Speaking Committee of TESOL-SPAIN is happy to announce the winners of this year’s TESOL-SPAIN speakers grants. Congratulations to:

Elena Vercher has won the First-time speaker grant for her workshop entitled
Get... set... ANIMaction! Creating short animated films in Primary.

Ryan Gornall has won the Robin de Andrés grant for his talk on Theatre in the Classroom.

Daniela Avelló from Chile has won the TESOL-SPAIN GLOBAL GRANT FOR SPEAKERS FROM AFRICA, ASIA, OR LATIN AMERICA for her workshop on Assessing content learning: The blind spot of bilingual programs.

As a non-profit organization, TESOL-SPAIN wishes to support the professional development of all teachers of English, giving equal access to its National Convention to participants from a variety of national, ethnic and linguistic backgrounds. For this purpose, TESOL-SPAIN offers the following grants, to help cover expenses while attending the TESOL-SPAIN Annual Convention:
 

GRANT 1: FIRST-TIME SPEAKER GRANT
Awarded to a speaker presenting at a TESOL-SPAIN convention for the first time. Click here for information

GRANT 2: ROBIN DE ANDRÉS GRANT
Awarded to a speaker presenting on a theme related to primary or secondary education in Spain. Click here for information

GRANT 3: FULL TIME UNIVERSITY STUDENT GRANT 

Awarded to a full time university student resident and studying in Spain. Click here for information

GRANT 4: PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT GRANT
Awarded to a beginning teacher resident in Spain. Click here for information

GRANT 5: TESOL-SPAIN GLOBAL GRANT FOR SPEAKERS FROM AFRICA, ASIA, OR LATIN AMERICA

Awarded to a teacher from Africa, Asia or Latin America attending the TESOL-SPAIN Annual Convention as a speaker. Click here for information.
