Here are some general TIPS if you are using this website by yourself.

If it is your first time to visit a website spend some time "looking around", getting an idea of how it is organised, what it contains.

Decide on something specific you want to do: watch a video, read an article, a combination of this related to the same topic etc..

Before you start, use any images there are or your own knowledge or imagination to make predictions about the content and also the language of the material you are going to examine.

Make a one line general summary after the first reading / listening.

Read / listen again in more detail. You might want to use different options: pictures, hypertext, videos, text, captions, online dictionary etc. to help you understand more fully.

Make some notes on what you found interesting: think about the vocabulary, expressions, tenses and other grammar aspects and how they relate to the purpose of the material.

Try something similar? Write a similar text? Report back to your teacher or class or to us via email to put the language you have seen into practice.
