The TESOL-SPAIN ELT JOURNAL is inviting contributions for its fourth issue, to be published in the Autumn of 2026. We aim to provide a platform for original research, innovative ideas, and critical insights within the field of English Language Teaching. Anyone can contribute, but we are especially committed to publishing work by educators involved in and committed to the aims and ideals of our teachers’ associations and provide a valuable forum for teaching professionals from all over the world to share and develop our knowledge and experiences. In recognition of this, the title of the next issue is ‘Shared Visions, Singular Voices’, and we welcome contributions on any topic.

We are committed to publishing high-quality, peer-reviewed articles that contribute significantly to the advancement of knowledge in our discipline. We invite teachers, scholars, researchers, and practitioners from around the world to submit their original work to be considered for publication in our upcoming issue. Material that has previously appeared in other publications is also considered.

Contributions may include, but are not limited to:

• Original Research Articles: Presenting new research findings and theoretical explorations that significantly contribute to the field.
• Review Articles: Comprehensive evaluations and discussions of existing literature and current research trends in a specific area.
• Case Studies: Detailed examinations of real-world applications and experiences relevant to our journal's scope.
• Perspectives and Opinions: Thought-provoking commentaries on emerging trends, controversies, or challenges in our field.
• Book Reviews: Reviews and critiques of recent publications relevant to our discipline.

General Guidelines

TESOL-SPAIN ELT JOURNAL (TSEJ) is a biannual publication containing articles, case-studies, short reports, and book reviews on all aspects of English language teaching. We welcome submissions on any topic but also have a theme for each edition. Submissions are read by an editorial team of highly qualified and experienced professionals in the field of ELT.

No word length is imposed although we would prefer articles of 5 – 10 pages, or 10,000 – 13,000 words.

There is not a fixed deadline, but we would like to receive submissions for the next edition before the end of October 2026.

Submissions should be in the form of a Word document. Please include an abstract, if appropriate. Please do not format you document with page numbers but we ask you to send a justified version of your text rather than a left aligned version. There are no fees payable to submit or publish in this Journal.

The journal is open access.

It will be online and have an ISSN number.

Contributors are required to ensure they are submitting original work and have the rights to this work. We are happy to receive submissions that have appeared in other publications. Please ensure that you have obtained and can supply all necessary permissions for the reproduction of any copyright works not owned by you.

You can expect a response within 4-6 weeks. This might include suggestions for edits or revisions. If your work is accepted, we will ask you give us signed permission to use your work.

The journal uses the APA style guide.
