The TESOL-SPAIN JournalBack

Volume 1. Spring 2025 - Exploring Different Branches of ELT

Welcome to the first issue of the TESOL-SPAIN ELT Journal. As TESOL-SPAIN approaches its half century, we continue to seek ways to support and engage our members - whether teachers, writers, students or academics.

Volume 1. Spring 2025 Exploring Different Branches of ELT

This biannual publication is one of several new initiatives introduced by TESOL-SPAIN as part of our ongoing commitment to foster opportunities for teachers and academics to share their ideas, research and experience and further enhance the strong ties we make as part of an international community. We are delighted that this edition includes contributions from Argentina, Bangladesh, India, Poland, Spain, the USA and the UK.

The TESOL-SPAIN ELT Journal aims for breadth, and depth. In this issue you will find articles, case studies, reflections and suggested teaching methodologies on topics as varied as pronunciation, bilingualism, posthumanism, one-to-one teaching, translation, cognitive grammar, inclusive classrooms and engaging multi-lingual learners. Whether the reader is drawn to articles based on detailed and extensive research, ideas for classroom practice or more personalized perspectives on language or teaching topics, we hope this edition inspires further inquiry and dialogue, and we welcome feedback from our readers.
