Perspectives of in-service English teachers in Portugal and Spain

Lola López Navas (Rey Juan Carlos University, Spain) and Carlos Lindade (University of Porto, Portugal) are conducting a cross-national research project examining the perspectives of in-service English teachers in Portugal and Spain on the extent to which initial teacher education has prepared them for the realities of today's classrooms. The findings will inform a comparative study that they will present at The Future of Teaching Conference, to be held in Lisbon this October, and they hope the findings will also contribute to ongoing discussions about the future development of initial teacher education in both countries.

The survey is completely anonymous and will be available until mid-September.
